SALT LAKE CITY AVENUES HISTORIC DISTRICT

This whole house remodel completely transformed a remuddled Avenues bungalow into a spectacular pied a terre. A “total gut and remodel” the original interior was completely stripped to expose the bare structure. A modern floor plan replaced the original with a gentle nod to the history of the structure. Of interest is the new garage with a spiral stair to a roof garden above. This is one of several of our projects featured in Utah Heritage Foundation’s booklet “Celebrating Compatible Design.”
