68 K STREET, SALT LAKE CITY AVENUES HISTORIC DISTRICT
Originally built as a live-work grocery store, this little 19th century gem included much of its original cast iron storefront. After careful documentation of the building and its structure we were tasked with restoring this building to it’s original intended use with an upstairs pied à terre, a main level commercial space, and functional basement storage. The scope of work involved design modifications to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act, structural upgrades, and complete replacement of all major building systems. Currently the commercial space is used as a yoga studio.
